Bibliometric analysis on pediatric caudal anesthesia

Abstract
 Background: Bibliometric analysis studies are that examine the literature on a subject numerically and holistically, have recently attracted lot of attention in field medicine. The number articles about pediatric caudal anesthesia has increased gradually over past few decades. However, there is no bibliometric study literature. This aimed to present published Web Science (WoS) Core database related anesthesia.
 Method: We used search engine WoS included all types contributions (original articles, reviews, letters, etc.) analysis. keywords access ‘’pediatric, caudal, anesthesia, analgesia, block’’ words. For analyses, VOSViewer 1.6.13. version was used.
 Results: most cited publications were following journals: Pediatric Anesthesia (84 1892 citations), Analgesia (26 884 citations) Anesthesiology (7 537 citations). countries publish receive citations starting from highest USA, France, Sweden, Turkey, Canada.
 Conclusion: parameters foci thorough anesthesia: publication date, citations, journal name, theme, country. It noteworthy currently plays crucial role research. still need for new different cases anesthesia.

Caudal anesthesia in paediatric patients.

We have described our technique of caudal anaesthesia in children. This technique was used for relief of post-operative pain in 120 patients. Relief of pain was complete. Post-operative recovery was quiet and comfortable, with no side effects. The surgeons, the parents and recovery room personnel were satisfied. There were no surgical or anaesthetic complications.
